Our Story

Brevard's home for pre-loved adventure gear.

The mountains of Western North Carolina are full of trails, rivers and peaks, but the gear to enjoy them can be expensive. That's where we come in.

Next Venture Outdoors is a locally owned outdoor resale shop in the heart of downtown Brevard. We take in quality, name-brand gear that still has plenty of miles left, check it over, price it fairly and put it back on the floor for the next adventurer. The result is a constantly rotating selection of apparel, bikes, camping equipment, paddle craft and snow gear at a fraction of new retail.

Most of our inventory is quality pre-owned, name-brand gear, and we also stock select new items and essentials such as nutrition, maps and accessories. Inventory changes daily.
